“Providing food assistance to Pelham individuals and families in need.”
NEW
Pelham Cares is now implementing a SHOPPING MODEL. All clients will be invited to shop for their own groceries from our shelves in accordance with the needs of their own individual households.
Appointments need to be made for each visit to the foodbank and these can be made once a month. Please call 905-892-5300 or email info@pelhamcares.org to arrange an appointment if needed.
Appointment days/times are as follows:
Tuesday afternoon: 1:00 – 4:00
Wednesday morning: 9:00 – 12:00
Thursday morning: 10:00 – 12:00
Depending on availability, we typically carry on our shelves a variety of perishable and non-perishable food items. Perishable items usually include fresh/frozen fruits & vegetables, protein options, bread, milk, eggs and margarine. Our non-perishable shelves have a selection of pasta & sauce, rice, soups, breakfast items, canned proteins, fruits & vegetables and provisions for babies/children. We also carry hygiene items such as toilet paper, soap, toothbrushes/paste, feminine hygiene products etc.
