35 Years of Service!

As we enter our 35th year of serving the community of Pelham, we would like to express our gratitude to this generous community! Throughout the year, and especially during the Holiday Season, the donations of food, personal care items, household products, toys, and money, grants, contributions of many volunteers, and the support of local media, allow us to continue to assist families in our community.

The need in our community continues, often due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, job loss, utility bills, or a car repair that stretches already limited resources. Our ability to assist families in putting food on their table during these times is met with a great deal of gratitude. Our Youth Services program helps families in keeping their children active and engaged with their peers in sports, recreational and educational pursuits. And on the other end of the spectrum, our volunteer drivers provide much needed transportation for residents, mostly seniors, to medical appointments, when other means are not available or viable.

Thank you to the individuals, businesses large and small, social clubs, schools, and churches for your on-going support and for putting your faith in our organization. Thank you to our amazing volunteers who logged upwards of 4,000 hours and drove over 25,000 kilometers to make it all happen! As they say ‘it takes a village’ which is so true in this situation!

On behalf of the Board of Directors of Pelham Cares, staff, volunteers and clients; a heartfelt thank you goes out to the Pelham community for your support in 2017!

27th Annual
Pelham Community Food Drive
Saturday December 2nd, 2017


It was another very successful food drive, with hundreds  of volunteers helping to make it happen, and many generous donors helping us to stock our shelves for the coming months!

"Your TV" (Cogeco) produced a great feature article on the food below

How to Donate...

Food, personal care, and household products:

Drop off at our office - Monday thru Friday 8:30 - Noon, non-perishables can be left in our deck box.

Monetary Donations

Charitable tax receipt issued for donations of $10 or greater, or food/personal care/household products/gift cards when receipt is presented.

Stop by our office for cash, cheque, or credit card donations.

Online using Credit Card, Debit card etc.:

PAYPAL Donation, including monthly donation amounts:
